All over Beijing there were lots of Chinese tourists.  I didn't realize that there were so many Chinese who could afford the luxury of travel.  Some seemed to be by themselves but there were a lot of groups wearing hats or t-shirts that said things like "Workers Steel Co-operative of Wuhan" or whatever.  Even more interesting, many of the t-shirts were printed in English rather than in Chinese characters.
