Qutab Minar

The Qutab Minar has been called the seventh wonder of Hindustan, is the tallest stone tower in India, with 376 steps it's 234 ft tall.  It was begun by the Muslim campaigner Qutab-ud-din-Aibak in 1193 to commemorate his capture of Delhi. The decorative bands of intricately carved inscription are Arabic quotations from the Koran.
